The best thing about Dr. Sleeptite and the Nightmare Factory might be its name and bizarre story. It's not a BAD game per se, at least it wouldn't have been at the time, but it doesn't hold up too well nowadays. The goal of each single-screen CGA level is to collect all of Doctor's Nightmare Capsules, and then reach the exit door. You must of course avoid the baddies, and climb ladders and such to reach the capsules. It plays sort of like Lode Runner. I most often died by falling off ledges, since your player keeps moving in the direction you press until you hit Spacebar, and doesn't stop moving when you reach an edge. It makes it quite difficult to play. But I imagine many people remember this game, if only for its story and aesthetic.
